AndesNest Safety Institute

About AndesNest Safety Institute

Our Origin

AndesNest Safety Institute was founded by responders and educators who saw a gap between policy and practice. We set out to create training that is clear, scenario-driven, and respectful of time pressures in modern workplaces.

The name “AndesNest” reflects resilience and preparedness: a nest built strong against changing conditions. We bring that spirit to fire extinguisher training that equips people to respond with calm, informed action.

Mission and Approach

Our mission is to help people make the right decision in the first 30 seconds of a fire event. Courses combine PASS technique with risk recognition, extinguisher limitations, and evacuation criteria.

  • Standards-aligned curriculum referencing NFPA and OSHA guidance
  • Microlearning structure with short, focused lessons
  • Scenario-based drills and reflection prompts
  • Assessment with clear, actionable feedback
